In addition to LendingCap, Neil is Chairman and CEO of its founder, Aries Capital, LLC, a full-service real estate lender and mortgage and investment banking firm offering long-term, interim and mezzanine loans for commercial real estate properties in the US and Caribbean. He is also President of Urban Development Fund, LLC, a New Markets Tax Credit CDE. Throughout his 40-year career, he has funded more than $5 billion in commercial and multifamily properties.
Neil’s entities have also held equity interests in real estate worth more than $250 million, including apartments, hotels, shopping centers and land developments. Urban Development Fund has received approximately $700 million in federal and state New Markets Tax Credit allocation, translating to $1 billion in transactions. UDF financings have focused on extra distress census tracts throughout the United States. UDF has funded multiple property types, including hotels, mixed use properties, retail developments, theaters, hospitals, and medical facilities.
Formerly a licensed CPA, Neil received his BSBA degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, and his MBA degree from Stanford University. Highly active within the commercial real estate field, he is a member of and/or holds leadership positions in various local and national real estate organizations including the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), MBA, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Self Storage Association (SSA), the Lincoln Park Builders (LBD) and the Chicago Real Estate Investment Association (REIA). Neil also is an adjunct Real Estate professor at DePaul University in Chicago and serves on The Executive Board of DePaul’s Real Estate Center.

Andrea joined LendingCap founder, Aries Capital in 1997. Andrea handles special projects, including asset management and loan workout negotiations, as well as underwriting and closing commercial real estate financing transactions. She also represents Aries Capital in the Central Midwest, with a regional office in Peoria, IL. Andrea has extensive experience in the underwriting, performing due diligence, loan structuring and closing of commercial real estate loans for hotels, multifamily, office, retail, industrial and senior living facility purchases and refinancing. She is skilled in financial analysis, lending, loan servicing, underwriting, regulatory compliance and market research and analysis.
As Assistant Vice President at Berkshire Mortgage Finance Corporation, she served as Chief Underwriter for FHA multi-family programs nationwide and regional underwriter for Fannie Mae DUS and Conduit, as well as Tax Exempt and Mezzanine Loan Programs. Previously, she was a Loan Analyst at Mesirow Financial, where she oversaw application packages and processed transactions through commitment for HUD, and acted as Regional Underwriter for Conduit and FHA programs as exclusive regional correspondent firm to Continental Wingate Company loan programs. Andrea has also been a consultant providing feasibility advice in aspects of senior housing development and financing to non-profit groups nationwide.
Andrea is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Self Storage Association (SSA), the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), the Chicago Real Estate Council and the Chicago chapter of the Real Estate Investment Association (REIA). She has also written for industry publications including the Scotsman Guide. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature from Butler University
